As a 10-year-old, I dreamed of becoming an artist. But studying sciences was considered the more practical path, and I ended up enrolling in physiotherapy at Queen's University. The pull toward design never really left, though. For more than a decade, I balanced physiotherapy with freelance design work on the side, and spent a year as an animator at Switch Video in Collingwood, Ontario. Eventually, I knew I couldn't ignore that pull any longer.

In 2020, I took the leap and turned my freelance work into a full-time career, leaving physiotherapy behind for good. I've never felt more fulfilled—for the first time, I get to use everything I've got, the analytical mind and the creative one, in the same place.

When I'm not working, you'll likely find me outdoors—skiing, hiking, inline skating, or stand-up paddleboarding, whether I'm in Ontario or out in beautiful British Columbia.
